This beautifully renovated, spacious flat is in a quiet neighborhood one block north of Golden Gate Park, making your leisure activities very accessible.
It features a new elevator. There is a fully equipped, new, spacious chef's kitchen with granite countertops.
There is a comfortable living room with a wood burning fireplace and a 32' flat screen TV. The spacious living room also has a desk, a computer with DSL and a printer. (Wi-Fi is available, as well.) The living room opens to a spacious dining room that seats six. (There are folding chairs available in case of a spontaneous dinner party.)
There are 2.5 new marble bathrooms. This apartment is a generous 1550 square feet [172 square meters]
Both of the bedrooms have en-suite marble bathrooms, new queen-sized beds, generous closets and lots of storage space. One of the bedrooms has French doors with a balcony over-looking a lovely garden.
This is an ideal choice for families. There are two twin sized aero-beds and a porta-crib [with washable cover] for the little ones, as well as a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. It is also perfect for two couples - no need to share a bathroom.
The flat is great for corporate short-stays and executive relocation, as well. It is also great for visiting scholars going to UCSF or USF, with easy public transportation access. (5 blocks from the Google shuttle.) There are hardwood floors and radiant heating (in the floor) throughout making the temperature always comfortable.
The vacationer or the business traveler will find this property ideal. Golden Gate Park is one block away with the new, acclaimed California Academy of Sciences and the DeYoung Museum. There is easy access north to the Golden Gate Bridge and south to Highway 280. There are two public golf courses nearby.
This flat was lovingly and tastefully renovated. We want our guests to be able to enjoy all the thought and care we put into it. We are close by to share our love and knowledge of the city.

This place is fantastic and Juliette is a wonderful host. The house is big and clean and well laid out with comfortable furniture. It feels like a real home (in a good way) e.g. the kitchen has everything you could want, way beyond the basics. The neighborhood is great too, the place is quiet and you’re right by the park. Would love to stay there again.

Host Juliette is a delightful person and we enjoyed getting to know her during our stay. She is an excellent communicator with a rapid response rate. The flat is spacious, great layout with ample storage and clean. The inner/outer Richmond has great restaurants and the flat is one block to GG Park with quick access to GG Bridge & Marin County. We recently stayed at Juliette's property for a month and it was the best apartment we've ever rented (and we travel quite a bit). Inside, there was just about every convenience that one could expect. The location was a block from the wonderful Golden Gate Park and walking distance close to several restaurants and shops. The Safeway was about 0.6 miles away. Public transportation was also close at hand and we used it frequently. The area was quiet, despite being within the geographic confines of the City and close to Park Presidio Boulevard, a major thoroughfare. Finally, Juliette was wonderful as a host, providing helpful information throughout and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this property!

We arrived on the Saturday evening for our five day stay. We were very excited to stay at the apartment seeing as we had been travelling through California coming up from L.A having stayed in five hotels along the way, this was our last stop. It is our first experience renting a property on VRBO. The property is very spacious .It has been recently renovated the bathrooms are stocked with everything that you need, hairdryer, shampoo, clean towels. The beds are very comfortable with fresh linens and soft pillows. There is a sofa bed in the living room which is quite comfortable for a child to sleep on, however the noise from the street is quiet loud. The kitchen is stocked with an abundance of dishes , pot and pans and there is even some basic necessities such as coffee, sugar , dry goods. I would give the overall cleanliness a Five on Five. Location wise it is close to Golden Gate Bridge Park, and a fifteen minute drive to most areas of San Francisco.
Parking is not easy to find on the street , but a block or two away so that was not an issue. After reading this review you maybe wondering why I only gave this flat a three star rating ? Well, after settling in on the Saturday night and finally enjoying the space of a flat and not a hotel we were woken up at 6.30 a.m with the sound of footsteps overhead of the owner and her dog, this went on for at least two hours, constant back and forth walking in the bedroom above us, the dog scraping the floor either to find a spot to sit down or running up and down the hallway, he is a large dog and therefore makes quite a bit of noise. The next day I met the owner Juliette , a very nice woman who asked us how everything was and I told her that everything is wonderful except that we were all woken up with the constant footsteps of her and the dog and would she be able to walk more quietly and perhaps not make the dog walk around the bedroom early in the morning.
She informed me that she had to remove the rugs because of her cat and therefore she cannot help the noise. I hoped however that she could be a bit quieter the next morning. The next morning we woken up again at 6:30 with constant walking for two hours and this continued everyday. Even if you are a heavy sleeper you would be woken up by the noise , after sightseeing everyday we were tired! It was very unfortunate, it ruined our experience. Note to the owner- please make an effort to keep the noise level down as guests are on vacation !
