Great place, absolutely loved the location and the little snug room.

Could do with a bread knife and a small vegetable knife.

This is a good apartment with views over the fjord from the glass fronted terrace. We liked having a washing machine/dryer plus a good sized kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was moderately well equipped, only 2 saucepans and none had matching lids. There is a Joker supermarket on Husoy which has most of what you need for selfcatering. Do not miss the smoked salmon from the company Karlons based on the island. Also a cute home bakery “cupboard “ just up the street where you can buy delicious cheesecakes and pay by QR code. We liked being able to walk to the viewpoint and the calmness of Husoy as it does not allow camping and thus is a quiet place to stay. We were able to park outside the apartment and we charged the ev down at the Joker supermarket. There are some great beaches and hikes a short drive away. A good walking book has been left in the apartment which was helpful. Senja is much quieter compared to Lofoten once you are away from the Instagram viewpoints.

The decor of the apartment ! As though done by the Addams Family’s interior designer. Only 2 loo rolls provided. Only one bin liner. Other than the book of walks, no local info provided. Access strictly from 4pm and the only self catering place we stayed who did not give the lock box code until just before check in time. The “host” is actually the local hotel on Husoy, Hotel Storm. Ability to charge an ev at the apartment would have been helpful, we had this in our other self catering stays in North Norway.

Quiet. Stunning view.

Lack of cooking implements. Oven dirty. No toaster. Lack of communication prior to arrival- all last minute.
