Lovely stay, only came for one night for a concert. Would stay for longer if visited again. Very clean and good facilities. We had a minor issue that owners came to see us about asap.

Two adults shared bunk bed, could be more sturdy as whole bed unit moves when someone moves in the bed.

What a magical property to come across, it sounds silly to add but we really loved the driveway coming into the property it was absolutely beautiful. The host was very welcoming and showed us around. There were games and movies provided for extra entertainment. The beds were comfy and warm, the views are magnificent and it the birds were peaceful to wake up to.

Lovely location and view, and nice and close to Exeter. The property is modern enough inside, and spacious for a short break.

We didn’t get any arrival instructions or directions and so found it hard to find. After driving round the village for 20 minutes we called the owners, who guided us in. The beds were awful, all 4 of had a terrible nights sleep in all 3 bedrooms, and the bedding and crispy towels felt very cheap. The bedrooms are very basic with a half size hanging rail in the corner of one room, which seemed like an after thought and made getting in and out of bed very awkward. There is mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, and shabby paint flaking off around the windows. The outside is very messy and overgrown. There are lots of building materials laying around the Annex and house below, which made it look like a work in progress, although have seen a review from 2024 saying the same thing, so maybe not. We also found it dusty and with cobwebs, so not sure when it was cleaned last. Think it could be a lot more than it is with a bit of thought and money spent on it. As someone who manages 30 holiday homes myself, I know the little things can make a world of difference. Even something like a pint of milk in the fridge so we can have a cuppa after a very long drive :)
