Great quiet location and spotlessly clean

Great spot - possibly get bigger sofas for lounging teenagers !!!

There is nothing to dislike about this property, the location, the hosts, it is all absolutely perfect. The photos on Booking.com are very true to the actual lodge, but it's even better in the flesh! Everything is provided in the lodge, fantastic kitchen facilities (even providing plastic glasses for use outside/in the hot tub, or plastic cutlery for small children), the towels in the bathroom are luxurious and each bathroom has individual soaps/shampoo etc for you. The bedrooms are all beautifully made with lovely bedding and decor. Emma and Robert had provided large fans in two of the bedrooms which we found extremely thoughtful in the 30 degree heat! There is great WiFi and the TVs are all working and connected so we could even watch a few World Cup games! Outside there is a beautifully clean hot tub which we used a lot! There is also giant Jenga, a BBQ, a firepit and giant Connect to play, all of which we took advantage of. The lake beside the lodge is very picturesque - there is even a love seat situated beside it to quietly enjoy the wildlife. All directions and instructions from Emma and Robert were clear and concise, and although we didn't see them much at all, they were on hand and very responsive to messages. This is an absolute gem of a property, we are already looking for dates so we can return! Enjoy!

Nothing to dislike about the property that's for sure! The small, winding roads in the area took a bit of getting used to but that's about it!

It was a beautiful lodge, perfectly decorated to make it feel homely and comfortable. Very clean and in a gorgeous location of tranquility and peace. The little things left for us just made it a wonderful stay. Would definitely come back and stay, it was beautiful.

Great location, clean and uncluttered but decorated nicely with a homely feel. All the appliances worked well and the kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with full sized bath and the showers were very good. We enjoyed the hot tub and the garden especially the bbq, fire pit and garden games.
