Gamla Stan

Location was perfect, right in the heart of Gamla Stan. It was near a lot of shops, pubs, restaurants, and historic attractions and museums. A wonderful place to walk around the scenic winding alleys of the Old Town.

Might get a bit noisy at night due to the touristy location.

Location, historical aspect, everything was cleaned and convenient.

It’s February, so pretty cold, thank goodness for the heaters. The sound isolation was not perfect, but it’s an old building with old windows, so you can her 6.30 deliveries for the flower shop downstairs,

Absolutely superb location which made our visit truly memorable. Quiet, spacious comfortable rooms. Very atmospheric old building and vicinity. Friendly helpful florist neighbour. Short walk to many sights and to the tram station. Adequate shops nearby to service a visitors needs.

Floor level microwave was a joke.I'm 84 and had to lie on the floor to use it. See photo. The shower was unusually small and cleverly fitted into a small space. However it is difficult to use by a larger bodied person. The flat was on the third floor and there was no lift. Not a serious problem for us except that we needed help from the local florist to get our bags upstairs. It would have been a good idea for the accomodation listing to warn elderly customers of this feature. Finally, the electrical wiring needs to be sorted out.
