Villa st Francois Private Heated swimming pool ,air conditioning ,free parking

We had a lovely stay at the property. It is in an excellent location around a 10- 15 minute walk into the walled city, although do be warned that this is up a steep hill. Taxis are easily booked through the Taxi Club app and can get you to the restaurants in the main town within 5 minutes. The villa is within a private gated development and so there are no concerns with parking if you hire a car. Easy driving access to Toulouse, Perpignan, Narbonne, and lots of other lovely towns nearby. The villa itself is in great condition and is very new. The outside area with the pool is lovely and the views are fantastic in all directions. Very quiet area and so absolutely no issues with noise. The host was very accommodating and lives in the house next door, so never a problem getting hold of them in case anything is needed. Bedrooms are well laid out with comfy beds and nice showers, but do be warned that they do not have toilets in the rooms, nor doors into the shower area. Having to share a single toilet between the 3 rooms wasn't ideal, but a small price to pay given the price, location, and general condition of the villa. The kitchen area is well laid out and no problems if you want to cook meals if you are there.

Only a single toilet in the villa between 3 bedrooms was not ideal, but each room does have a very nice shower and sink area. If I was being really picky then I think upgrading the coffee machine to a Nespresso or other espresso pod machine would be a good move as the supplied machine was not the best.

Nous avons adoré la situation géographique idéale, la tranquillité absolue sans le moindre vis-à-vis, la maison moderne, décorée avec goût et bien isolée et insonorisée, la vue, les chambres spacieuses et confortables, toutes équipées d'une salle de bain et le propriétaire, accueillant, sympathique et réactif mais discret.

Great location in quiet part of city. Super helpful and friendly host. Beautiful villa and spacious rooms. Showers were great. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend to others. We absolutely loved it. The pool and terrace area was also magnificent.

We loved the exclusivity of the villa. Private pool and so close to the medieval city of Carcassonne which was only a 10 minute walk. It was very modern and clean.
