Location. Good lay out for multi generations.

The best position in Nelson Bay. So close to EVERYTHING. The place was clean, and had everything we needed. It was VERY well priced !
The management of this booking was absolutely ridiculous. We were told there was some renovation happening when I booked, which we understood. On the day we were travelling to Nelson Bay we received a message that the painters would need to access the balcony via the unit for two days, "if you have plans to be out during those days, this arrangement should not pose any inconvenience as the keys can be returned to the lockbox". Apparently the lack of privacy and security isn't considered much of an issue. That was a little more than "renovations"... I called to question the late notice of this, and they called back and advised that the work would be rescheduled. We next morning we found the painters had put ladders up, and accessed the balcony from there - before 7 am. We couldn't have curtains (and at some times even the windows) open in any of the areas for the 4 days/nights we were there, I have to stress here that the painters were fantastic friendly guys who were just doing their jobs! Early on the Wednesday evening I received a text reminding me to put the bins out (including a very quick comment that if we didn't we would be charged for it). They had the wrong day for the bins (if you are reading this, the bins are collected on Friday mornings, not Thursdays), and they couldn't tell us where they went on the street anyway. The texts I received that night were extremely unhelpful, verging on rude, and ruined that evening for us. The painters would be a one off - but this bin saga, was beyond belief.
