Such a peaceful and tranquil location. Beautiful riverside walks straight from the apartment.

Location was perfect. Not many people. Loved the peace. Loved that the dog could come and floors were wood so easy to clean if needed. There were plenty of utensils etc so could cook breakfast. We loved the fact you could light fire pits and BBQ which we would if we hadn't other plans. The peacocks were fun and liked that we had a bit of private river. We discovered aa we'd been here with a great friend, whose sadly no longer with us before lock down for a cream tea. So many memories came back even though it's a different type of venue now. Bed was comfy and warm.

I thought the velux in bathroom should have been de moulded. It wasn't horrendous but a bug bear of mine. The fan in the bathroom looked a bit grubby too The double room could do with a chest of drawers. For a couple of nights no problem though. Bed squeaky 😂

Location wonderful. Nature all around, bird song and great for birdwatchers. Comfy beds and bedding 😊 Walks from apartment so no driving necessary and a nature reserve on other side of clapper bridge. Clean and spacious apartment, unfussy and functional, tastefully decorated with real plants!!

Kitchen tap has been mentioned in other reviews as being a bit stiff but nothing major.

Amazing location. Right on the river. Can hike straight out of the property. Sauna next door which I would highly recommend. Was clear when we stayed and the stars at night were incredible. Very spacious although it was only 2 of us. Very friendly hosts. Will definitely go back.

Décor was a little dated but the absolutely excellent value for money far outweighs that point.
