The Stone Barn Cottage

Lovely homely cottage, great that it had 3 bathrooms, all with fab showers! Very well equipped, we had everything we could need, & more. Great garden, with friendly chickens roaming freely & lovely views. Eggs & some supplies waiting on arrival, thank you! Friendly hospital owners, Dave had a lovely, gentle, sense of humour, & offered advice on where to wild swim & visit. Location perfect for teen adventures with the river dart country park & haldon forest go ape very nearby, amongst other attractions. Brilliant highly reviewed pub, with the best gluten free pizza I've ever had, right on the doorstep!

If I HAD to say something, it would just be that the stairs were very creaky so it was difficult to move around when people were sleeping, and I found out bed a little uncomfortable, but others may love it.

Quietness and the size of the property were excellent. The log burner was lovely in the evening as were the fresh eggs on our arrival - a nice touch.

Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little tired and some areas quite dusty, some lights didn't work and the external doors were barn doors - quite warped and could see alot of daylight!

The location was great. Friendly, accessible hosts. Well stocked kitchen, all we needed.

Prachtig huis inclusief mooie ruime tuin voor de kinderen om in te spelen. En kippen waar je eieren mag rapen, erg leuk.
