Rebecca, our host, made our stay absolutely wonderful and took the time to get to know our needs so she could meet them. She gave us tips and ideas for the area as well as time to enjoy our stay.
We could have used a longer stay, next time we will book more than one night.

I couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. The location is excellent. The hostess was superb. The breakfast was delicious. I will certainly return.

Cute little property with a ton of charm. Perfect location to downtown Golden. Delicious breakfast. Rebecca was so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay

This historic house itself is charming and in a wonderful location, and the breakfast was tasty and nicely done. The owner is friendly and clearly enjoys sharing stories about the home and past guests.
That said, the stay didn’t quite meet expectations for the price. The home felt a bit dark and tired, and could benefit from a deeper clean and some updates to make it more comfortable.
There was also an issue with the lock on our room door — after being locked out once and hearing similar stories from the owner, it became clear that this has been a recurring problem that needs a lasting solution. I was hesitant to lock the door again.
With some attention to maintenance and freshness, this B&B could really shine; however, as it stands, it feels somewhat worn and falls below the standard I expected.
