Ba Bể Homestay - Nhà Nghỉ Trần Thực

Very clean with simple minimal amenities, (which I liked). It is cold in December so pack accordingly. I requested an extra blanket and I was given a warm heavy one and I slept the best here since coming to Vietnam. The host makes great dinner and breakfast. She is very kind. Her husband is the tour guide and will take you on a river cruise tour to many spots, such as visiting a cave, waterfalls, even let you hop in Ba Be Lake to go swimming if you like. Be aware that the people live simply here in the countryside, unlike the hustle and bustle of the city. This to me is the real authentic Vietnam without the commercialized city of Hanoi. If you want quiet and peace and want to stay with a loving family at a great value, I recommend this homestay. The facility is very clean and I felt very safe as a solo traveler. If you come here with the right perspective, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Très bel environnement pas loin du lac .Possibilité de faire un tour de bateau avec le propriétaire de l’hébergement et possibilité de louer des vélos chez des voisins pas loin . Bon repas avec des crêpes au petit déjeuner

L’hébergement est très basique et le propriétaire n’était pas très aimable sauf sa femme très souriante

Very basic but then again, the cost is also low so that was expected. The family that runs the place is very friendly and helpful. For a budget stay I can recommend this place.

The walls are extremely thin so if you have a room with a neighbouring room you will likely be able to hear everything going on in the other room.

Lovely views & very friendly owners - meals were great !
