One of Folly’s Best! Gypsy Tide is a 5 bedroom 5 ½ bathroom luxurious beachfront home. This spacious two-story home has ample room to host up to 12 guests. Take in the gorgeous beach views from the swing on the screened-in back porch or sunbathe on the open upstairs deck. The private walkway to the beach makes this home feel like paradise. Come and relax on the quieter west end of Folly Beach. A short ride to Center St. takes you to beach shops and local restaurants. This home is the perfect retreat to gather with family and friends. This property is just three blocks from the Folly Beach County Park that has lifeguards in the summer months.
This tastefully decorated home provides everything your group needs for an extended vacation. The living room with wrap-around windows is the perfect location to enjoy a drink prepared at the home cocktail bar. Catch up with your favorite show on one of the many Smart TVs throughout the home. Gather around the dining table for a game night or your favorite dinner. The modern kitchen is the perfect spot to create a home-cooked meal or even try new cuisine from a private chef. Make your preferred cup of coffee from either a standard coffee maker or Keurig. There is also a washer and dryer as well as an outdoor shower.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms each with King beds and ensuite bathrooms. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The queen bedroom has an ensuite bathroom that also connects to the hallway. The third bedroom has two twin bunk beds as well as a twin sofa bed. For groups needing more space, there is an additional room upstairs that provides a king bed as well as an ensuite bathroom. Both rooms with kings upstairs have direct access to the outdoor deck.

House and location are fantastic. Beautiful views and large beach with access right out the back door. I had my entire family (kids and grandkids 10 total) with me. We had plenty of space. Very accommodating The only negative is the house is in great need of repairs and maintenance. Most of lights did not work, especially in the lower parking area and rear deck. The hanging fixture in the kitchen is broken and missing the lower globe. The stove vent fan and lights did not work and there is a smoke detector in the kitchen right above so the detector went off anytime we cooked anything. Cracks in ceilings. The stand alone ice maker in the kitchen does not work. There is a large hole in the soffit on the rear. The fireplaces do not work or we could not figure out how to turn them on. The toilet seats in two bathrooms would not stay up. The sliding screens on the bedroom doors upstairs constantly came off the track and would not open. The railing on the upper deck needs work. I would not let my grandkids out there as I felt it was not safe. We were not allowed to use the elevator. There is a flagpole in the front but you cannot see it because the front is so overgrown. Sounds like a lot, however, just some basic maintenance would make this place perfect. I would probably stay there again as the location and views make up for the above issues. I guess I just expected more for the price we paid.

This house really have breathtaking views. The balcony offers spectacular views of the Atlantic sea and is a nice hang out place for the entire family and friends. Overall, an excellent property for any occasion.

The house was beautiful- truly beautiful with incredible views. The furniture was family friendly and so comfortable with great family gathering spaces. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch playing games. We walked the beache, swam, did crafts. The house had everything we needed and more. It was actually bigger than I was expecting. The hosts were very easy to contact and entry and exit could not have been any easier. Thank you Gypsy Tide for a very memorable Thanksgiving.
