About this house rental
Riverfront home on Doty Island in peaceful residential area. Built in 1936, our home has character + charm. Seasonal heated pool, hot-tub & waterfront patio. Relax, kayak or fish off of the riverfront dock. 100 feet of Fox River frontage - minutes from Lake Winnebago by boat or kayak and 8 min to the highway. Come for some R&R or for an event (EAA) our family home is in the heart of it all! 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Hens providing fresh eggs daily! Licensed by the Menasha Health Department.
You'll have access to the entire house during your stay. (Sans a few closets/drawers/cupboards needed to store our personal belongings. No access to garage or boathouse)
The swimming pool will be available mid May- the end of September and heated on request (addl. fee to keep it heated. No pets in the pool) Make yourself at home!
Guests are expected to do the dishes and
empty garbage as needed. Please clean up
after cooking. Put all towels used in the laundry room at the end of your stay. Please recycle and place in the brown can on the side of the garage as needed. Place trash in the blue can as needed.
We do NOT welcome parties, events, loud music, or disturbances of any kind. We live in a peaceful neighborhood and wish it to remain so. NO SMOKING inside
house and NO DRUG USE in house or on property. Parking is NOT allowed in the garage. Driveway only- NOT
ON THE GRASS. Please respect city rules and do no park extra cars in the street opposite to our home. Only number of quests booked may be welcome- any additional guests will be charged to guest. Additional charges will be added for missing, broken or stolen property.
No pets on beds, on furniture, in the pool or hot tub
Pet policy:
1 pet included in general rate. (Maximum of 2) please inquire if wishing to bring 2 pets for an additional fee.
-Pet must be house broken
-Please bring your pet's towels (wiping paws)
-Please bring your pet's bed/crate
-Pet must not be left unsupervised in home or tied up outside (damages inside/barking outside)
-Pet must be listed on reservation request.
- Please clean up after pets outside

- No pets upstairs
- No pets in pool or hot tub
- Please report any broken or damaged items caused by pet
-Fines to be issued if policy broken

My husband, 3 adult kids/spouses and 3 children (5 & under) stayed for 3 nights in this charming large home to attend nearby music festival. With 5 BR it was just perfect! The 3&5 yr olds were thrilled with the unreal number of toys. It was awesome! They were busy with toys if we were in the house! đ The pool was great, the river was beautiful and we even threw a line in a few times. River was fast and high and too hot outâŚbut still fun. Lots of pillow choices on every bed. Nice linens, towels (pool towels too!), paper towels, TP, etcâŚeverything we needed. We were only missing a portable crib/crib, but we just bought one and will gift to our nephew & wife. Owners said theyâd get one for us, so that was nice. BtwâŚwe loved the kcups! The âVâ brand Colombian blend was delicious!
Everyone also loved the surprise chicken coop in the yard with adorable, quiet, not stinky chickens.
Itâs a beautiful and quirky older home that has been remodeled very nicely. We had a wonderful time and would return if theyâd let us. Sue K, Champlin, MN
