About this house rental
Lakeland Retreat has 4 bedrooms, den and plenty of entertaining space! Directly on Lake Winnebago with private pier and AMAZING sunsets! Bring your boat and launch nearby, launch is 5 min away. Our spacious outdoor area with double swing for relaxing by the lake, dining table, firepit and hot tub. Great entertainment space indoors with a living room right off the kitchen with lake views. Cozy up by the fireplace indoors too! Full bar area and pool table in the basement! Great family fun!
The house is three levels. Upper level has two bedrooms, full bath, loft area with sofa bed, desk and additional couch. Main floor has master bedroom with full bath, den with sofa bed and desk, half bath, living room, kitchen and dining area. Lower level has bar area, pool table, lounge area and fourth room with queen bed. Bath on lower level is half-bath.
We are directly on the lake with great views. Great outdoor space - firepit, hot tub, sandbox, dining table, chair swing and sitting area. Expect some spider webs and flies (part of living so close to nature). Other animal friends - kids have been known to find frogs, seen deer in the corn field while riding bikes and great bird watching.
Lake Winnebago is a large lake and generally very swimmable. You typically can swim right off the dock but at times waves might be too large or water conditions would suggest you pass. Swimming is at your own risk.
The lake is great for boating or fishing but remember that lake conditions can change quickly. Keep an eye on the weather before going out and during your trip. We do not allow you to store a boat overnight at our pier, nor to launch at our house and no use of boat lift is included. There are local launch areas, one is 5 min away and another is 6 min away. Local harbors have storage areas with overnight parking.
Enjoy winter at the lake. Sturgeon fishing or ice fishing. Nearby tubing hill, skiing and more. Or just retreat at the house with a cozy fire, game of pool and dip in the hot tub!

Beautiful property that was perfect to celebrate my birthday with friends! Stunning sunset, grill, hot tub, fire pit and plenty of space to hang out. The host gave ample communication on how to check in and where everything was located.
