Prominence is one of the most popular communities on 30A and features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. Prominence is perfectly located to new and long time 30A haunts as well as the beautiful white beaches of Scenic 30A. Guests will enjoy a beautiful town center and 2 resort style pools.
Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Concerts, family activities, restaurants, and boutique shops are just some of the things to do within a less than 5 minute walk.
Prominence is centrally located on 30A with Seagrove and Seaside to the west and Alys and Rosemary Beach to the east.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.
INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

First off, this house was updated, beautiful and clean. We loved this house! The house itself gets 5-stars! The pool was right around the corner and that was nice! The Big Chill was less than impressive with mediocre food at best. No problem, lots of great restaurants nearby! The beach is a short drive on the golf cart. The state park beach is just a few minutes away, though a long boardwalk that was exhausting for my parents. Inlet beach was about a 20 minute drive but was less crowded with a shorter walk to beach from the parking area.
It was frustrating that there was beach access for Prominence homeowners just a few steps from the house that guests aren't' allowed to use, but it is what it is. That was our only complaint. Overall, great place to stay and great location.
