Prominence is one of the most popular communities on 30A and features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. Prominence is perfectly located to new and long time 30A haunts as well as the beautiful white beaches of Scenic 30A. Guests will enjoy a beautiful town center and 2 resort style pools.
Located at the town center, the Big Chill is a hot-spot for entertainment and features an outdoor 25 ft LED theater screen for sporting events and movie nights on the green. Concerts, family activities, restaurants, and boutique shops are just some of the things to do within a less than 5 minute walk.
Prominence is centrally located on 30A between Seagrove and Seaside to the west and Alys and Rosemary Beach to the east.

Beach Accesses for ALL Prominence homes are via South Walton public beach access points. Most Prominence guests utilize Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public beach accesses. Prominence homes do not have direct beach access via Watersound Club nor do they have access to Watersound private club facilities.
INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.
E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

We really enjoyed staying at this house, it is large with a great layout and large spaces. We had 10 girls stay here and we had plenty of room to get ready. I had read a few reviews that the WI-FI was slow but we did not experience any issues, however, we only streamed on one tv at night, not several streaming services. Check in and out was super easy! Only thing I would recommend is that Panhandle make the communication process easier via internet, it was challenging to ask any questions. When I called, the people were a lot more helpful than those answering the emails.

House was beautiful with plenty of living spaces both downstairs and upstairs. Golf cart was fun and was required for getting to the beach. The Hub was a great hangout and we could walk there. The pool area on the beachside was closed, however we used the main pool.
There were restrictions due to Covid, however we never had to wait or be told to leave - maybe due to offseason. Would have give. 5 of 5 stars but the beach access was slightly a longer trip than we thought. Also, WiFi password does not include capital letters. Once that was fixed, all was good with WiFi.

We enjoyed staying there. It only has 3 1/2 bathrooms not 4 1/2.
We did enjoy using the golf cart (it is a necessity for getting around), the bikes and boogy boards.
It is very spacious and you never felt crowded.
