Beautiful secluded deer camp property! House was as described. Comfortable bedding and family accommodations. Nice back porch to soak in the sunset and hummingbirds (& we saw one deer). Getting to the river isn’t for the elder or weak but once you’re there it’s beautiful. A side by side or golf cart would have been super helpful. River was way down while we were there but was refreshing and clear (didn’t catch any fish to keep but had fun). Drive to near by areas to site see and for dinner each night. Much needed stress free river and country getaway, such a peaceful property- loved it.

Our family of five traveled to this beautiful property for the week of Thanksgiving. All of us, from the senior citizens in their mid-80's to the 14 year old girls absolutely fell in love with it. It is a well-loved family ranch/hunting camp on a very large property with all the conveniences of home. If you are looking for something fancy and new, it is not for you. If you are looking for an real place where generations of kids have played, people have cooked delicious meals and eaten them together as a family, and an outdoor experience that cannot be beat, then this is the place for you! The house is of a cabin/camp flavor and is of an older vintage in both age and decor - if you are looking for fancy, look elsewhere. However, there is a big tv, new stove/oven/microwave, excellent climate control, every appliance you might need. The beds are exceptionally comfortable! Water pressure - A+. What cannot be overstated is the incredible beauty of the setting. Just the walk to the river alone is worth the price of admission. There are animals everywhere - deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, doves and more. Along the river you can find fossils, jasper, banded chert for the rock tumbler and more. We had so much fun in the kayaks. Owner was extremely easy to reach, kind, friendly, helpful - everything you could want. This is a six hour drive for us, but we will totally go back. Remember that for the price you are not just getting the house - it is a whole ranch!
