A Walk to the Harborfront

Great little private house close to downtown. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds (even the sofa bed). Great communication from the host before checking in. A family of 4 with 2 cats so pet allowance was great. Played some of the provided board games which was nice. Couple minute drive to downtown was a big reason for choosing the property and it didn’t disappoint. Recommended if wanting a larger private location close to downtown.

This property was very clean and well-stocked. Our host even asked what types of condiments and coffee we preferred and accommodated us. The fenced yard worked well with our small dog, making daytime/nighttime outings very convenient.The property is close to all amenities by car. A beautiful park on the downtown harbour, was ideal for daily walks, and was a couple of kilometers away. Additionally, SIPS, a nearby pub, offers a great happy hour and some of the best quality hot wings we've had in a long time. There are many other things to do in the area, such as parks for walking the dog and restaurants.We enjoyed our stay.Light sleepers should note that there is a fair amount of road noise at night from the near proximity to the Trans Canada Highway and a nearby traffic light.

The place was great, amazing space and great parking. Only down side we found that it was very loud with street traffic, as the bedroom are a front of house by the busy streets. Host was very good with comunicating with us before check in and helped accommodate us with ealry check in.

Such a beautiful little house! We can’t say enough. So well appointed, beautiful furnishings - everything we needed. The neighbourhood is down town Nanaimo so there are some derelict buildings and homeless so maybe not the best for an evening stroll but for us it was perfect. Probably the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much.
