Welcome to Twin Locust- Located at the foothills of The Catskills this immaculately renovated home seamlessly marries the old and new. Spanning over 3,000 s/f of interior and 3 acres of woodlands this is the perfect retreat to gather with loved ones. The home features a brand new gourmet kitchen, a great room with a wood burning fireplace, 2 drawing rooms a dining room, porch, 6 large bedrooms and 3 spa-like bathrooms and a fenced in lush yard.

Susanna was an excellent host. We were a big family of all ages and stayed for five nights, and contacted her several times the first two days to ask some questions about the house and the heat, to get some guidance. She was super responsive and gracious, and sent people over to help us get comfortable, and helped us enjoy our stay. One of our group left important medication behind, and Susanna very quickly got someone over there to send it overnight.Kingston and Woodstock were very cute for our outings. We had plenty of comfortable bedrooms, and the kitchen was well equipped.As the property description notes, the house is on the main road so there’s nowhere to take a walk, but we knew that ahead of time and planned for driving into town or to nearby areas to take walks in the woods.The only drawback for us was that the big dining table was in an unheated room. Susanna arranged for space heaters so we were able to enjoy being there. There’s a fireplace in that room, but it did not work well for us, so it seems something could still be improved to make that room more comfortable for dining.

This house was built in the early 19th century. So much TLC went into the updating that was done. It’s great place for families.

The house was beautiful. Just as pictured and with all the amenities we expected. I stayed there with my family of 12 and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. Susanna was extremely communicative and helpful and we had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this location.
