Cozy accommodations in a great location.

This hidden gem was perfect! Location was nice and close to town and the updated home had all the necessary amenities and toiletries. Our host really thought of the details which allowed us to just enjoy our vacation as a family of 5. And the view was amazing….We’ll be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay here! There was a hiccup with our check in and we ended up having to check in late due to the property still needing to get cleaned but our host was very fast to have someone come out and get the place spotless for us and then also refunded part of the cost of our first nights stay. We appreciated how eager she was to make it right. The area is peaceful and the view is lovely. I will say if you plan on doing much cooking there like we did you may need to bring some additional cooking pans/accessories. Other than that the place had everything we needed! The beach chairs and towels were also great amenities to have.

Great stay for our family of four. Great location—although difficult to walk from with no sidewalks. Plenty of space to relax after a day at the beach. Wonderful view of Cruz Bay from the porch. We had one small power outage during our stay and the backup solar panel was nice. Would stay here again.

Samuel’s Cottage was perfect for our third trip to St John! We prefer to stay close, and this location was great for walking into town, but providing more privacy than being “in the town”. The place is well air conditioned, and clean! Provides many amenities including beach chairs, beach towels, and extra linens/pillows. It is a steep driveway, so driving up/down is fine, but if you plan to walk everywhere, the hill is not suited for mobility issues.
