About this house rental

The cottage welcomes you into an open plan living area with smart TV and comfortable sofa. The well appointed kitchen has an electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing/dryer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The large dining table provides seating 6 people comfortably.

On the ground floor is a Double Bedroom and separate shower room with WC. On the second floor there is the Master Bedroom and Twin/Double bedroom and Family Bathroom.

The cottage is located perfectly for exploring Essex and Suffolk.

The Cottage has large comfy bedrooms and great facilities. The PH that owns the property is next door is quaint and food is reasonably priced and tasted great. As it is a quiet village this means that there is no rowdy noise to be heard from the accommodation shpuld this be a worry for people looking to stay. The male staff member working that day (I didn't ask his name im afraid) is extremely helpful and polite. This is my 2nd visit to The Cottage and certainly somewhere I will return to

Property is as described. Well-equipped for a very comfortable stay. Peaceful countryside setting located behind a typical old English pub!

I stayed here for 2 nights with my two sisters. It is a lovely property, newly fitted out with everything we needed. It is comfortable and lovely and warm. Only downside was no internet. There is wifi there but during our stay we never got an internet connection. If internet is not an issue for you I would highly recommend this property.

We had an excellent stay, property was very cosy and spotlessly clean. We had a few small issues: Pillows in all rooms were quite flat and a little uncomfortable. Internet was not working, even after a reboot. Could not locate the oven and hob instructions (could be added to the welcome pack?)

We loved the property! So nice for our teens to each have a room at such a reasonable price. Our only challenge was working the appliances as we couldn’t find the instructions that were referenced on the welcome book, but we managed by looking up the user manuals online. We would definitely recommend and stay there again as we have relatives in the area and visit often.

This is a lovely house in the country side. The backyard looks out into a field with wildlife and is peaceful and relaxing. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. A great kitchen with everything you need. The pub is called The Plough and it has the best local people who work there. It was so fun to relax with good food and drinks after a day of fun and then just walk back to the house. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful people and a great pub next door. It was quite and private. Amazing view out the back with visits from wildlife. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals.
