The Neighborhood:
This property is just 2-3 miles away from the heart of Pacific Beach, which is a relaxed neighborhood by the beach, popular with sunbathers, surfers, locals, and vacationers alike! Any beachgoer flocks to Pacific Beach. Trendy hotel bars and casual cafes line the boardwalk, while Mission Boulevard and the surrounding streets are dotted with clothing boutiques, yoga studios and casual drinking spots that draw a fun bar-hopping crowd. Just next door, Mission Beach has one of the last remaining wooden rollercoaster at Belmont Park, so be sure to check that out! Slightly more inland, the grassy slope of Kate Sessions Park has sweeping views of the city and San Diego Bay. Of course you're super close to Seaworld and if you prefer the zoo, just about a 10 minute drive to there. Downtown, the convention center, and Petco Park are about 15 minutes away.
Getting Around:
Pacific Beach is a very walkable town! You can walk on the boardwalk and all the way to Mission Beach if you wanted to! I'd recommend driving from the home to get there through, and if you want to get to any other parts of San Diego it's best to drive or use Uber / Lyft.
Other Things to Note:
Pets are welcome with prior approval and additional $125 pet fee.
**No pets without prior written approval. If you're bringing a pet, you must follow airbnb's pet rules: dispose of all pet waste properly, never leave pet unattended in the home or backyard, and keep dogs leashed when walking them outside of the home.
For your safety we have a ring cameras at the front door and 3 ring cameras, all facing out in the front yard.
Please Note: We have a minimum age requirement of 25 years old for all primary renters.
San Diego now requires all guests to sign a Good Neighbor Policy document prior to staying. We do enforce their policy so it must be signed in order to receive checkin info, but we will make it super easy for you to initial and sign :) It can all be done online.

To begin with, communication with the property management group was excellent, with all questions and concerns being addressed quickly and without issue. The house is beautiful and couldn't have been in a better location. You have great views of Mission Bay, Pacific Beach and San Diego in general all from the back yard. There is also a large outdoor table, comfortable sectional and a table/firepit on the patio. For those with children, there are several toys and a children's playhouse. The little ones we had, 4 years and 1 1/2 years found many ways to keep themselves occupied. The house is modern, clean and very comfortable. We made use of the garage, which is an added bonus and provides for plenty of parking combined with the driveway. The rooms, beds and pillows were very comfortable. Towels and a small bag of toiletries were found in each room, nice touch. The kitchen is very user friendly, with modern appliances for your use as needed. The house is very airy and open, with large windows and several sliding glass doors. I would like to address a few things that were left in another review which gave an overall rating of 6. A comment was made about no exhaust fans. Not needed, just open the windows and sliding doors. And please, not flexible with arrival and departure. You booked if for a certain time, its called a contract. If you want to arrive early or stay late, YES you should pay, its OUTSIDE of the contract. Sorry, had to say it.

Nice spacious 4 bedroom home at the top of a hill in the pacific beach area near I-5. Safe neighborhood. Clean and easy to access upon arrival. The only complaint I can think of is that the toiletries (tp, paper towels, small shampoos and soaps) were probably the cheapest products you could find. The home itself was very comfortable, nice living room with plenty of seating, and nice mattresses. Would recommend for families looking for safety, space and ease of access between San Diego and La Jolla areas.

View from the house is fantastic. :Place was very clean and Jen replied to our questions quickly and accurately (She did a great job). Excellent location. But we had several concerns. There were 8 adults staying there and the description of the bathrooms is incorrect. There are only 2 1/2 baths. Also there are no exhaust fans in the house. When we cooked we had to open all the doors to eliminate the odors. There is a smoke detector in the kitchen and it would go off due to the inability to use an exhaust fan. In the master bath you could not use the mirror (again,no fan to exhaust the steam from the shower). Also, the mattress in the master bedroom was like sleeping on a sponge. Very soft. And last (but not least) they are not at all flexible with arrival and departure times. Even though the place was not booked for several days both before and after we arrived if you want to either arrive a hour or two early or leave a little late during your stay they want 25 per hour for every hour you arrive early or leave late.
