Casina delle Fate by VacaVilla

Belle maison bien équipée et isolée sur les hauteurs. Le domaine est entièrement clôturé ce qui est rassurant. Bel espace dans le jardin pour s'adonner à des tonnes de loisirs divers. Maison très propre et décoration soignée. Propriétaire à l'écoute (on a demandé une grille pour le barbecue qui nous a été apportée). La maison est pourvue d'une panoplie d'appareils anti moustiques ainsi que de moustiquaires, et cela est bien utile.

Des petits détails mais rien de bloquant: - table de ping pong mériterait d'être remplacée - Internet très instable, et quasi pas de connexion 4G - Piscine plus petite que sur image (+/- 2,5m sur 6m) mais suffisante pour nos besoins (robot à disposition pour nettoyage) - Il est vrai qu'il y a un chenil à 400m. Les chiens aboient entre 10 et 11h et entre 16 et 17h (j'imagine l'heure des repas). Si vous avez des enfants qui courent autour de la piscine, vous ne les entendrez même pas. Si vous souhaitez un calme absolu, cela pourrait vous déranger.

The pool was a good size, there was a lot more garden/outdoor space than I realised from looking at the pictures. Good amount of parking, and reasonable size rooms. A high chair and travel cot were provided as were towels, kitchen roll, toilet paper and some cleaning products. The property was difficult to find, however the owner arranged for someone to meet us to show us how to get there which was really helpful. The property was very private. We had to buy a couple of fans to cope with the heatwave, the owners kindly paid us for these upon departure.

The BBQ area was unusable - it was dirty and covered in leaves. The kettle was full of limescale (see photo). There were cobwebs over the majority of the property. The bathrooms really needed a deep clean, there seemed to be yellow staining all around the tiles especially in the shower area and part of the floor tile was broken. The pool electric cleaning device didn’t work. There was CONSTANT barking of dogs (this wasn’t from the next door neighbours 2 dogs, this was further away but you could constantly hear them). Every morning we would need to clean up the bat droppings on the patio by the pool (they must have been hanging from the roof) We were provided with a piece of paper which explained the recycling/rubbish days, and a mobile number we could contact at anytime if we required help - we contacted this number a couple of times and didn’t get a response. Sadly, because we were staying during a heatwave, the lack of air conditioning was at times unbearable - consider this when staying during the summer, a fan in each room sadly doesn’t do much! It would have been really helpful if they provided a “user manual” for the house/appliances/places to go/restaurant recommendations. The kitchen hob was strange - after using it, it would remain hot for HOURS after. Which then didn’t help with the heat in the kitchen.
