Villa Alma is an excellent property to rent. I highly recommend. I would book the property again!

Eka and team were excellent. He made sure we had everything we needed. The location is a bit remote but luckily we had private transportation.

The outdoor space cushions needed a little tending to. Perhaps we were back to back with the previous booking and there was not time for laundering. Otherwise, the property was enjoyable.

A gorgeous, peaceful and relaxing retreat from the madness of Ubud.

This property is the ultimate getaway in the Ubud area. Peaceful, beautiful, amazing pool, gorgeous view out over rice fields, modern and calming, relaxed interiors. The staff were helpful when required.

To be clear, this is more about Bali than the property, but beware of moisture creating a fair bit of mould around the place, and the smells from the bathrooms can get quite bad- don’t blame the staff or the house though, this is just part of the heat and the sanitation in Bali I believe. There were small bugs around, but no more than usual and certainly wasn’t a bother for us as was to be expected as per listing.

Okay villa, lots better in Bali!

Direct view of the rice fields in front of the villa. The pool was quite a nice size for an actual swim. Cross breeze was nice, and the area is very quiet and tranquil.

The villa is similar to the photos but definitely needs maintenance - lots of mold growing, the upholstery was quite worn out and the washroom had a terrible sewage smell which they tried to cover up with a reed diffuser but that only made it worse. Furthermore, any instructions we left with the host or cleaning team, even upon reminder, were not tended to. Additionally, the villa location is remote (which is great for the rice field view) but the area doesn't allow for a grab/gojek pickup, and if you book the local taxi there, they scam you by charging you 4-5x of what Grab would be quoting, even if you try to book through the host, which wasn't very helpful at all.

The best stay I ever had

The property was amazing. It was nestled in the middle Of rice-fields. It had amazing views, plus the staff were really nice. Our house host, Dode was really amazing and the most nice person I have ever met. Every thing about the villa was perfect and I would really recommend everyone traveling to this beautiful place to stay at the Villa

Un séjour superbe dans une villa magnifique, malgré des extérieurs à entretenir davantage.

La villa est superbe, décor balinais magnifique, très calme et bien située (prévoir un scooter). Accueil avec une boisson à la noix de coco, ménage fait tous les jours, lits très confortables. Dode, le gérant, a été exceptionnel : massages, transferts, toujours aux petits soins.

Les fauteuils intérêt plein de tache, & extérieurs étaient couverts de moisissure, ce qui est inacceptable pour ce niveau de prix. Impossible d’en profiter, vraiment dommage car tout le reste était parfait. Un nettoyage régulier est nécessaire.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Die Villa war sehr sauber. Es ist echt ein richtiger Traum mit Blick auf ein Reisfeld. Ein Zimmer ist ausgestattet mit einer Außendusche, das andere Zimmer verfügt über eine innenliegende Dusche. Für 4 Personen einfach perfekt. Massagen können direkt Vorort gemacht werden. Es wird von der Unterkunft angeboten dass die Masseure direkt in die Villa kommen, was sehr komfortabel war. Roller können direkt in der Unterkunft gemietet werden. Braucht man in diesem Fall definitiv.

Die Villa liegt ca 10-15 Minuten außerhalb von Ubud. Für uns war das ok. Wer mehr im Geschehen sein möchte, muss sich ggf was anderes suchen. Es gibt auch keine Restaurants in der Nähe die zu Fuß erreichbar wären. Essen kann aber ganz leicht per Grab bestellt werden.
