Det var slidt, beskidt og halvfærdigt ! Håndtaget til badeværelsesdøren var ved at flade af og døren knirkede så den måtte stå åben om natten, hvis man skulle på toilettet. Der var et strygejern der ikke virklede, hvilket betød at man jo så i praksis heller ikke havde brug for det strygebræt der manglede. Tørrestativet var i samlesæt og afløbet i bruseren var stoppet.
