The view was spectacular. Rooms spacious and comfortable. All rooms including lounge had air con which was very much appreciated during our stay at the end of June, it was very hot!. We only cooked once during our stay and found kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Bathroom was good size and clean, so was the whole apartment. The surroundings were tranquil and quiet, with the usual village shenanigans that didn’t bother us, only added to the authentic Italian feel. We used the Bellano Lido daily and found subbed even on weekend. We have read the reviews so knew the apartment was on a steep hill, however we underestimated the hot weather so only left apartment once a day, morning for sightseeing and then spent afternoon on the beach before returning, to avoid exhaustion despite being very fit. There are no taxis so if you’re not up for a challenge, definitely hire a car or at least a scooter. The key collection from the town was not a problem, nor would the find of the property, had we not arrived very late in the middle of a huge storm. Still, we have made it! Bellano has few restaurants to choose from, there is also restaurant on the beach. Visiting Orrido de Bellano is a must! Varenna is only few minutes train ride from Bellano, with plenty of things to see, beautiful surroundings and a fantastic trek up to its castle ruins with more spectacular views of the lake and mountains.

Couldn’t find a tea towel and found the shampoo tray in the shower very flimsy, felt like it would break if we put anything on it.

Tot. Vistes espectaculars del llac. Bon camp base si tens cotxe, Varenna és a 10' per agafar ferry. Apartament molt bonic i ben cuidat, ampli i molt comfortable.

Que no hi hagin cortines opaques en una de les habitacions, per dir alguna cosa.
