High up gem of an apartment with stunning views

Absolutely beautiful, spacious split level apartment. Everything you need provided and the host couldn’t have been more helpful. The icing on the cake though is the stunning views from not only the balcony where they have even provided blankets for you to sit out in the cooler periods and look over the stunning Lake view but also from where you lay your head in the bedroom and even from the toilet! We were only there for two nights but we had a lovely stay. It was even 20 minutes walk to an absolutely fabulous lake Como restaurant.

They say no pain no gain and to get those gorgeous views you have to walk about 20 minutes up a fairly steep Hill which might be an issue for some people but we enjoyed the exercise to work off all the incredible Italian food.

Great Lake front views with a property manager who goes above and beyond

The property manager, Claudia, was so attentive. She provided clear and precise instructions for check in and check out, and also ensured we arrived safely. 10/10 for communication. The property was immaculately clean and had a beautiful lake view, complete with a balcony to enjoy this! The kitchen was well resourced, and we appreciated the little extras left for guests like olive oil and treats. It was very spacious and would be perfect for a long term stay in the summer too.

It can be a bit of the hike up the hill with bags, however this is to be expected for the view! If you don’t mind a few stairs you will be fine

A lovely apartment with a fabulous view. Not suitable for those less mobile.

A fabulous view from the balcony, very clean, spacious, good facilities. Bellano is lovely and avoids all the crowds at nearby Varenna, much better to get on a boat or train from here. My son used the sofa bed and said it was comfy.

The walk up the steps and the hill to the property when we arrived, was not safe as no path and roads are very winding. It was an uphill struggle with our rucksacks on! It was only later that we discovered another way to get to the property which totally avoided the road. It would have been helpful to have been given directions to get to the apartment this way or at least have them in the property with a map to guide you. For information go down the steps immediately next to the apartment and you will find your way down into Bellano avoiding the road, you will then be able to find your way back up again. Google maps didn’t show me this way as an option so you just have to try it!

A hidden gem on Lake Como...

Claudia was absolutely wonderful to deal with. All our questions and queries answered so promptly! We absolutely loved staying at her apartment. The apartment was super clean, beautifully furnished and the view is simply stunning. We wish we had booked it for a few more nights. We would definitely come back in a heartbeat.

A fantastic place, highly recommend it. Two-story apartments, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, very warm, and you can adjust the heating. (We stayed in November.) The view from the window is amazing, and you could practically live on the balcony!

Flat is on a huge hill. Far away from shop.There was no pepper or cooking oil in the flat. Not enough salt & not enough olive oil. Usually in flats with kitchens they have basic things , so before staying pop to the shop.

Claudia is very kind and helpful, the apartment is brand new, peaceful with a nice view and very clean.. comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen in case you wanna cook. parking is easy to be found and the city is reachable on foot as well.

I would suggest have some more soap in the bathroom (at least hand soap) for 2 person/ 2 nights, there were available only 2x10ml soaps.. moreover, nets in the balcony should be added, cause we had several visitors ☺️ (two small spiders, and another insect that I don’t know its name 😂)

Very recommended place, great host

Clean and spacious apartment with an absolutely incredible lake and mountains view. Claudia the host is very nice and communication with her was easy, her instructions made self check-in and check-out a piece of cake. Free parking was available right outside, note that since the apartment is pretty high on the mountain, a car is necessary in my opinion, otherwise you'll have to climb a lot and there aren't any pavements. We enjoyed the balcony (both of them) and the apartment is very well equiped. Bed is nice and comfy. The availability of the host was just incredible, we checked in at about midnight and she was still talking to me waiting to hear everything is ok, which we really appreciated. Bellano is a reallt nice place to stay in lake como, close to Varenna where you can take a ferry anywhere. Highly recommended!

- There aren't any mosquito nets for windows or balcony, adding them would be great so it would be possible to air out the apartment with no worries. - The remote controller for the AC was not in the apartment when we arrived, the host brought it to us on our second day upon request which I found kind of odd so it was pretty cold the first night. I will mention that the host brought it very quickly, I probably could have had it in the day of the check-in had I not checked in really late, but again, just something you would expect to be there in the first place. - We discovered the washing machine was out of order when trying to use it, which was unfortunate and wasn't communicated to us, I assume it's fixed by the time you read this comment.

Everything was perfect! Claudia is a wonderful host who picked us up at the train station and drove us all the way to the apartment. A very warm welcome, we found a bottle of very tasty wine on the table. The apartment are brand new, the view from the window is breathtaking and the beds are very comfortable. Simply everything you need. Apartments in a wonderful location, very close to the center. We can highly recommend it. We definitely want to come back :)

Wundervolles Appartment für eine Auszeit am See

Wundervoller Blick auf den See, aus allen Zimmern. Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten im Ortskern und am See. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet mit liebevollen Details. Parken in der Nähe ist möglich. Die Vermieterin Claudia ist sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder!

un séjour très agréable qui correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes

nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement confortable, neuf , très propre, avec une magnifique vue sur le lac de Côme, bien situé, car on peut accéder à pied en 10 mn au centre du village : Bellano , par un charmant sentier pavé ( un peu sportif à la montée ), et qui permet d'accéder à toutes les commodités ainsi qu'au ferry qui permettent de visiter tous les lieux touristiques incontournables de la région. mention spéciale à la très belle salle de douche. bref un excellent camp de base dans cette petite ville pleine de charme . la communication avec l'hôte est excellente et permet de connaitre tous les" bons plans " de la région

locatia este foarte buna ,curatenie in apartament , toate sunt ca si noi , privelistea superba , vederea la lac foarte frumoasa ,liniste , drumul pana la lac este destul de usor la coborare , putin mai greu la urcare ...mai ales daca ai mers mai mult toata ziua foarte buna ideea cu cheia ,mi-se pare cel mai usor si pentru straini si pentru gazde , as reveni cu placere .
