Our family had another great stay at Montford House. House well located in the lovely village of Rhuddlan, great base to explore North Wales. House, clean, tidy and comfortable (like a home from home). We utilised the veranda on a sunny night, completed the jigsaws. Host Tony always provides a lovely bottle of Proseco, biscuits and their are also free toiletries if you need them. Great weekend break!

Nice property, pity it didn,t have a secure garden. We parked in the lane as the parking spot was, we felt, too far from the property, especially when you,re carrying cases etc across the roads. On the morning of our departure, as my wife had hurt her back , the owner kindly gave us an extra two hours to vacate the property.

The property was neat and tidy and provided a central location for exploring northern Wales.
The master bedroom was located upstairs at the front of the property, with the property situated on a main road, the noise from the road below (from both local businesses and traffic) impacted upon our quality of sleep (double glazing on the windows may help to reduce noise pollution). In addition, the shower was located in a small, recessed space making it difficult to access and shower easily/comfortably. There was a distinct smell of pet urine in the dining area.
