Pen Y Bont

Lovely little place, nicely located at one end of Rhuddlan, which has a good range of shops, pubs and place to eat. Large Aldi just down the road for a larger shop. Good location, easy to get to the coast by Abergele, Rhyl and Prestatyn. Dyserth Waterfall just down the road, and you can also head further inland. Well provisioned, although we didn't do much cooking, it seemed to have everything you'd need on a break.

The stairs are quite steep, so be aware if you do have mobility problems. The owners have added extra handles up the stairs to help, but you may still need to be careful.

Very clean and cosy. Loved the log burner. The utility room was really handy for boots, coats etc. Perfect location for walking with the dog and great to have a private parking space. Good communication from the owner. Shower is amazing!

Only a suggestion, but there wasn't a spare socket next to the bed that was available, without unplugging the lamp. The sockets looked a little busy, so I didn't want to play with anything. Not a huge problem, as there was one by the door.

Great cosy cottage & brilliant location for exploring the North Wales coast area.
