"Mel's House" - Duomo District - Milano Centro - Università

Tutto perfetto,entrata accogliente,organizzato bene,stanza pulita e profumata. Posizione perfetta,giri l’angolo e sei praticamente al Duomo,ma allo stesso tempo zona silenziosa e tranquilla sia di giorno che di notte. Se dovessi tornare a Milano ci tornerei di sicuro.

What I liked most about this place was the amazing location. It is right in the center of Milan, with everything very close by. There were a couple of things that were not exactly as I expected. When booking through Booking.com, I may not have read the description carefully enough. The main photo in the listing shows a living room, which can give the impression that it is part of the private space. In reality, the living room is shared between two bedrooms. If you travel as a couple, the price is for a private bedroom with a bathroom, while the living room is shared with guests from the other bedroom. This was a bit unexpected for me. Perhaps I simply missed the detail, but the main photo can be slightly misleading since the shared aspect is mentioned mainly in the Q&A section rather than clearly in the main description. We stayed only one night, and unfortunately it was very noisy. Both my husband and I usually sleep very well and rarely wake up during the night, but the noise kept waking us up repeatedly. We went to sleep around 11 pm, and the noise continued until about 2 am. I am not sure whether it was due to the neighborhood or the other guests staying in the apartment, but it made the night less comfortable. Although the bedroom has a window, it faces a wall and has bars, so there is no real view and the room feels a bit like a windowless space.
