Carrington Chateau

We loved Carrington Chateau - Christina the host is very thoughtful and had some lovely welcoming touches for our stay - including some Canada themed gifts - I have stayed in lots of Air BnB's and this was a memorable first! The two bedrooms are well presented, lovely bathroom and well stocked kitchen. The location is a plus too - in a great part of town with an easy walk to Commercial Drive (huge variety of restaurants and bars) and about a 15 minute walk to the station - three stops and you are in downtown. Normally we stay downtown but this was a great insight into a new (for us) part of Vancouver in a really nice neighbourhood. Can absolutely recommend Carrington Chateau!

Couldn't fault it.

The property was great it was spacious clean and comfortable. The secure off street parking was a bonus. Everything you could want or need was provided I would recommend it. The hosts were easy to contact and helped with access as I failed to read their instructions to access the property my bad not theirs.

The only slight gripe was lack of power outputs to allow all the kitchen appliances to be used at the same time other than that the property is outstanding.The location is well out of the city and you will need Uber or walk to transit station.

Cosy, clean and a short walk to a Main Street with lots of wonderful cafes and restaurants. There were also interesting specialty shops: record stores, art galleries and vintage clothing The apartment is set up very well for a couple or two friends travelling together. As an artist, I appreciated the nook beside the bedroom that gave me space to set up my painting kit on the desk. With French doors that open onto the rear garden it would also suit someone taking time out to do a little writing.

As a senior it was at the upper end of affordability for me, but would be great value for a working couple.

Very close to commercial drive and a great location overall to explore the city! The property was very well kept and had nice touches to make the stay special, including books!
