In our newly built, welcoming, and cozy "Björkhus," located 200 meters from Lake Lakenessjön on a spacious lot with a lake view and surrounded by many hiking trails, you can perfectly escape the stress of everyday life. In the summer, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the lake, just 200 meters away. In winter or on colder days, you can relax in the log cabin’s sauna, reserved exclusively for you. Perhaps you’d also like to unwind in the heated jacuzzi?

Anglers have the opportunity to catch fish in Lake Lakensjön, the Klarälven River, and various nearby ponds. For cyclists, there are many forest trails (MTB), and a beautiful 100-km-long bike path through Värmland’s countryside begins just 5 km away. Even for hikers—or even those who simply don’t want to do anything—this is the perfect vacation spot. A rowboat is available free of charge, and canoes and bicycles can be rented.

And for those who enjoy homemade ice cream in the summer, Lakene Ostgård is just a 10-minute walk away. There’s even a pizzeria in Sörby, about 2 km away.
