Book a stay in this beautiful updated 1930's boarding house located right off of the strip at GOTL! A new listing due to ownership change. The Westlake House has been operating as a STVR for years and consistently receives 5 Stars.

Featuring original sinks in each bedroom, gorgeous chestnut trim & a chef's kitchen built by the a master craftsman. The house sleeps 8 (& one well-behaved dog). Peek-a-boo lake views from many windows, spacious front porch with swing & backyard with deck & fire pit.

6 adults stayed here together and we loved the large well stocked kitchen, huge dining room table, and spacious living room. The interior of the house features beautiful wood floors and woodwork in all rooms except for the tiled floors in the bathrooms and kitchen. It is in a great location too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together in this charming home.

The Westlake House was wonderful. Clean, great kitchen, location was perfect for us and very comfortable beds and sofas!!! We enjoyed the outdoor space and loved the front porch!! It a great old home with so many neat rooms. Definitely would recommend!!! Haley was great to work with.

This place was perfect for a girls’ getaway and wine tour. There were 5 of us and we each had our own bed. Plenty of bathrooms and sinks too! (A trash can in each bedroom by the sink would be a recommended addition.) Great location! We loved being able to walk to the public park to enjoy the sunset over the lake. The kitchen is a little dated, and not very organized; it took us a while to find a matching lid. :) The plumbing fixtures throughout the house could be upgraded, but overall it was very clean (except for the front porch, but that’s expected). The air conditioning wasn’t working when we first arrived, and the host sent someone over right away to fix it. Very communicative and responsive! We are looking forward to staying here again the next time we visit GOTL. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved, loved the house! My Husband & I, & are two sons (ages 23 & 16) stayed at this beautiful property. We live in OKC, OK, but are originally from Ohio. We’ve been coming to GOTL X 50 years (multiple generations)! We loved the decor of the house, & of course the historic components of it! A few things we’d recommend: the faucet in the kitchen needs replaced. It would spray everywhere when it was turned on. The house overall was clean, we just noticed that some of the window sills & base boards were very dusty. We bought cleaning supplies & dusted some of the areas that we could. Also would recommend a trash can in the kitchen that has a lid to it. Again…overall the house was wonderful, which is why we just wanted the owners to be aware of some things we noticed that did not fit how the rest of the house was kept. We’d love to rent this house again next year for 5 nights in mid July. Thank you!

We stayed at The Westlake House for a family vacation over July 4th with our two young children. The house is a perfect location - very close to the main drag but still quiet. Walking distance to Geneva Township Park and views of the lake. The house had everything we needed, even a pack-and-play for the baby and toys for our toddler. Very easy to communicate with the owner with questions. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house, nice location near the Lake. It had a beautiful yard for my dogs to run in. We really appreciated being able to bring our small dogs. The house has character & a story to tell. The owners were very receptive during a bad storm, tornado warning. Highly recommend!

The house & property are absolutely perfect! Nice large home with plenty of room and very well stocked! Loved the outdoor spaces, especially the large front porch! The neighborhood is quiet, but a short 4 minute walk to the "strip". This is our 7th year as a family staying in GOTL & the first year we were able to all stay in one home! The home was so clean, comfortable, and we loved discovering the historic charm of the home (like sinks in every bedroom) while appreciating the updated amenities. It met all of our needs. This home was one of the most charming and clean properties that we have stayed in at GOTL. From the back yard which is surrounded by homes, but gives you a wonderful feel of privacy as it is fenced in. The deck area was a great place for us to hang out in the evenings, build a little fire and cook out. The front porch is a great place to sit as well as it is covered and just as charming as the back yard. The landscaping is immaculate....and that is just the outside of the property. The inside was well stocked with all the essentials you would need to prepare a meal and the kitchen is large enough for two or three people to prepare meals. The bedrooms were all very nice and the bathrooms and showers were great as well. The overall charm of this home was fantastic. The owners were easy to work with and very friendly when we spoke to them. We will definitely have this on our list to come back to stay next year!!! My second stay here didnt disappoint. The house is even better than last time. Great location, minutes from the hustle bustle,seconds from a lakeview sunset. The new hammock swing on the porch might be the best spot in GOTL. So many extra touches, like the 2nd floor coffee bar and the tons of drawers in the kitchen filled withanything you could possibly need, make this place as convenient as being in your own house, while simultaneously reminding you of how special this home is. I love this place, and hope to return again next year!

Beautiful restored home- so clean and welcoming! Even if you forgot something- shampoo, a certain pan for cooking- don’t worry! It’s probably there! Stayed 3 nights instead of 2- much more relaxing. Had a fire and did s’mores twice! Finally made it to Eddie’s! Delicious burgers! Beach day was freezing but other than that everything was perfect! Highly recommend this wonderful house!

The location is perfect walking distant to "down town" Geneva-on-the-Lake or the town park to see the lake! The house has everything you need to make a meal (except the food), enjoy time on the porch or patio, and watch TV. The decor provided a relaxing atmosphere!

We were far enough away from the bustling nightlife scene that we could relax and enjoy the outside spaces of the house without noise issues from others. The six of us loved the house and all it’s interesting historic features. The sinks in each room were a bonus to save on time getting ready at night or in the morning. Loved the park that’s just a quick walk East from the house. Beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!

This house could not be more perfect for a family vacation, couple friend's get-together or a girl's weekend. Seven of us, ages 10 months to 80 years old, gathered for a family weekend and left wishing we could stay longer to further enjoy both the outside and inside areas. The home is very clean, well appointed, and filled with many extra amenities - who doesn't love an upstairs coffee room? Jen was marvelous to work with. She promptly responded to all messages and offered great suggestions for various restaurants and activities, including where to rent golf carts in the off-season. We are looking forward to returning to the Westlake House!

The Westlake House was awesome! Our family loved the beautiful home and yard. Excellent job on recent remodeling while maintaining the charm of an almost century old boarding house. The kitchen is stocked with every dish and appliance you can imagine. Bedrooms are spacious & comfortable. For us, the location was perfect. One block off the main strip of GOTL. Easy access but quieter. Steps away from the park. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have already booked the Westlake House for next year's vacation.

This house was nice and big and slept all 6 of us comfortably. We enjoyed the fire pit at night. The kitchen was well stocked. It has everything. I loved the front porch swing. You can see the lake and hear the waves. Jenn was a pleasure to speak to. Very prompt in answering any and all questions I had. She gave great suggestions on what to do and where to eat. We will be back next year for sure! Thank you for such a great house. I must add the pictures do not do it justice. Perfect location to walk to park and you are on the strip so you are in walking distance to everything.

The house was beautiful,spacious,and clean! Pictures are beautiful but much more beautiful in person! Front porch was our favorite hangout when we were all there together! Kitchen has everything you would ever need. We didn’t do any cooking except in microwave. Very quiet and relaxing mini vacation! We didn’t have time to use back yard patio area . Beds firm and comfy! Tons of quilts and blankets. Plenty of basics like t.p.,paper towels! Honestly can’t think of anything that they could have had/done differently. We decided we are going to make this a yearly tradition but we are going to add an extra night so we can do s’mores and use patio. Strip wasn’t super busy.Beach was wonderful and clean! Ate at Mary’s Diner and Firehouse Winery- both wonderful! Eddie’s Grill was closed so we missed that but we will go next time! Highly recommend this restored gorgeous home!
