Paragraph Freedom Square, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Tbilisi

This is the best luxury hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room was beautiful, the facilities were exceptional, and the Japanese electronic bidet was such a thoughtful touch and incredibly comfortable. The swimming pool and saunas were excellent, and the staff were warm, friendly, and highly professional throughout our stay. We truly felt well looked after.

The only issue we noticed was at breakfast one morning, when the plates had an unusual fishy smell. Other than that, everything was outstanding.

Hotel was located in great location, walkable to all attractions. Great facilities and lovely executive launch. Room was spectacular with lovely big bathroom and very clean.

Spa service was a disappointment. Lady at the reception wasn’t helpful at all. We had limited time in hotel she didn’t want to arrange any service for us.

The hotel is in a perfect location right on Liberty Square, with all main sights within walking distance. It’s new, stylish, and well-equipped, with a truly luxurious breakfast, stunning views, and high-end Byredo toiletries — everything in line with its luxury positioning.

As a Marriott Bonvoy member who regularly chooses this hotel chain for its high service standards, I was disappointed by a few moments during my stay. The welcome at reception was completely unemotional. Although I was eventually offered prosecco, it came with a slight delay, and when it finally arrived, the staff member who had just finished my check-in gestured for me to step aside with my glass so I wouldn’t be in the way. Another incident that unsettled me was when I found four white men’s shirts hanging among my clothes one morning. The supervisor explained that the laundry service had probably delivered them to the wrong room. However, there was no apology, no expression of regret, and no reassurance regarding the security of my room or belongings. Overall, while the physical aspects of the hotel met the luxury standard, the lack of warmth and attentiveness from the staff — and the handling of these situations — made me feel reluctant to interact with them, which is not what I expect from a hotel of this level.
