    Pros: 1) Aesthetically appealing 2) Fantastic breakfast (esp cottage cheese pancakes), but honestly - everything was great 3) Walkable location if you’re a tourist 4) Staff try to be helpful and address any issues 5) Good pillows and mattress Cons 1) Poor sound insulation - you can hear the bass from the 6th floor bar on the 3rd floor if you’re below it. I’ve been moved to a room further from it - but could hear neighbours talking at night through a shared door, and cleaning ladies’ trolleys with glass bottles making noise in the corridor. Nothing to do with the staff - it’s poor capex. 2) Dark rooms, dark workplace, dark mirror 3) No proper storage for a long stay 4) No proper workspace (a very narrow, dark, soft table warming up the computer and a VERY uncomfortable chair) 5) the water in the sink was cold, though the shower was good 6) The taxis are afraid to park near the hotel since there’s a bus lane there 7) Duvet was too hot for the season; and my pillows got wet after cleaning for some reason (steaming?) so I had to change them 8) Cleaning was slow even if you put on “clean up my room” sign. Again, I don’t think it’s cleaning ladies, I think it’s the IT system used. 9) My fridge (loudly) locked every night, every morning I had to call the reception to open my personal stuff again.

    Overall, it is not a bad place. I would not really recommend staying here with children, as it feels more like a modern, youth-oriented single hotel. The bar is very nice, and the rooftop lounge is also quite cool. The food is tasty, and the Thai restaurant is pretty good. The location is convenient as well. The only thing is that the room design is a bit strange because of the corners. Even though the square footage seems fine, the room still feels smaller than it actually is. Over all recommended

    I stayed at ghe telegraph in August, preopening. The check-in process was comfortable, they offered to do it in the bar area with a gkass of drink, i arrived late after a full day trip. I think it was Tamari from reception who checked me in and after chatting a little bit when she found out i was an architect she asked if I'd like to have a 'tour' in the building with the construction manager on site (some rooms, floors will still not finished). I was escorted to my room but unfortunately the control panel was not explained to me, and in my opinion it's not a straightforward design. The one next to the bed shows all the lights and one says 'clean'. I oressed all the buttons to see how the lights change, then took a shower and just got into bed and was about to pick a movie when someone walked in. I realised the 'clean' button was for housekeeping. I would have used 'cleaning' on the panel, especially if all the other buttons control different lights. The breakfast was amazing, i think i can eat a lot but unfortunately nit enough to try every delicious looking bread and pastries and ham, and fruits they had on the buffet table... Plus a la carte. The dining space looks very chic and went back for dinner after i checked out. I'd stay at the telegraph anytime.

    Great hotel, fab staff staff and clean comfy rooms. Upgrade to the larger suites and you won’t be disappointed. Will be my hotel of choice the next time I’m in Tbilisi.
