Unfortunately breakfast wasn't an option as that section was closed.
However we did have a lovely breakfast at the Spar top floor.
Was perturbed about parking outside the premises but was assured it was quite safe.

The room was clean and quiet. Good lightning and bedding. The fridge was a bonus. The room cleaning service was very good. I like the coffee/tee station, which was filled up every day, also the rusks. There were always hot water (gas) and soft towels.
The bed wasn't so nice. There could be a soap holder in the shower. I missed a comfortable chair in the room, but sadly, there is no space for one. The backup lightning does not work without electricity, and the fan was noisy. The place is under new management for only a month, hopefully they will sort out all the problems in the new year.

The room was very good and breakfast was very nice.
That we weren't advised that the breakfast wasn't included and that we had to be out of the room by 10am by the manager when we checked in and paid. Shame the pud wasn't open on an evening as we would have eaten and had drinks.

The location friendly host
That we get WhatsApp at the 11 hour to ask if we are having breakfast and that its an additional R95.00 per person .Was not impressed. very false advertising that its a tea garden and the do evening meals, Nothing of the sort. Anyway we know not to book there again. The taps in the shower and basin don't work properly. New owner did nothing to the place except paint.
