Portland Manor

Beautiful manor in a lovely area. We only had an overnight stay. Breakfast was good.

Alot of the Hotel facilities were mostly closed for the season. Feel that bar area could.habe been open. Limited menu for dinner and pricey.

From the moment this property got in contact with us up until we left, we could see and feel that we were very important to them. They are kind and attentive, you feel well taken care of. The team here are amazing. Talitha and the team were amazing! Big thanks to Michaela for her hard works making sure we are comfortable in our rooms and also her excellent service in the restaurant. The breakfast was scrumptious. Also Monique who gave us the fabulous tour of the farm and then such a fantastic tour of the Macadamia warehouse/factory! Thanks to Frikkie too for explaining more of the process. We got really spoilt and really did not expect this. We have stayed at many establishments around the world but this attentive service and care is truly outstanding!

Theres very little not to like. However i do wish the owners would add the same “Je ne sais quoi” to the guest rooms in the lodge as they do in the barrington manor house

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The drive from the main road was fine.The staff were very pleasant and professional, and the lady gave us a tour of the old Manor, which has a very interesting history. Breakfast was great, and the furnishings in tune with a manor house. There are extensive grounds to walk around, the gardens are well kept, and nice views over the dam and swimming pool.

Food and beds were good

The road to the manor is 3km of a nightmare especially winter.. pothole single gravel road. Small rooms upstairs with a tiny bathroom. Creaking wooden stairs where people go up and down..very noisy i couldnt sleep
