Travedona Loft by lake Ixihome

It was very hot when we visited Travedona (summer 2026) and with no airconditioning advertised we were dreading our loft appartment a bit. Turned out there was an air conditioner! Really pleasant surprise (and very necessary). Welcome-basket of coffee, tea, breadrolls etc. also highly appreciated. Appartment was spacious, clean and complete. Microwave, washing machine and dryer (even pegs & washingfluid) , vacuum cleaner, nice shower (soap, shampoo complimentary), lots of cupboard space. Towels, sheets and blankets supplied. Lovely big & comfy bed! There is an elevator, although 2 flights of stairs to the top floor (3 flights to the underground parking) is perfectly doable. But handy to get all the luggage up or down in one go. Underground parking facilities very spacious (and direct access to building/elevator) - garage could use a more regular clean up though. Travedona is a lovely little village, very friendly locals, and local baker, coffeebar (Caffe della Corte), pizzeria all really nice. Bancomat closeby, and Lago Monate closeby too. Monate public beach seemed very crowded (car park was overfull), but there are nice beach clubs in Cadrezzate on the other side of the lake, 10 mins drive - excellent for swimming, sunbathing and a bite or a drink - and you can bring your own if you want. Gianluigi was very friendly, quick to reply to questions, excellent advice, very kind & helpful. Information beforehand very complete (although we did struggle to find the right entrance, but that was maybe us)

Struggling to think of something. If constantly used to cool the appartment at very low temperature (sub 20 degrees), the airconditioning produces quite a lot of water. Be sure to empty the waterbasin every few hours, or it will overflow onto the appartment floor. Less of a problem 20 degrees or higher, but wise to check regularly.

Enigszins gehorig (buren) en op gezette tijden veel verkeer op aangrenzende straat.

Mi è piaciuta la completezza degli arredamenti, pur nel piccolo spazio complessivo dell'appartamento c'era tutto il necessario. Funzionante, pulito e di buona qualità. Vedi lavastoviglie, asciugatrice, solo per fare alcuni esempi. La completezza delle informazioni, la disponibilità e rapidità della risposta dell'host, la scelta della posizione, il parcheggio riservato al coperto, dimostrano una attenzione all'ospite fuori dal comune. Siamo stati molto bene.

Cosa potrebbe essere migliorato? Nel mio caso non avendo predilezione per il foam, un materasso più duro e alto sarebbe stato perfetto, ma non è detto che questo valga anche per gli altri ospiti. Nell'elenco dei consigli non saprei che altro suggerire per migliorarlo di più.

Niet zo veel eigenlijk. Er was niet veel te doen in de buurt maar je kon wel naar het meertje.
