The best part of the apartment is the location and the patio. Mazzaro is a great option versus staying up in Taormina. If you want to walk around Taormina it’s a two minute walk to the gondola and then a 4 minute ride up. You can reserve beach chairs at the beach clubs and walk to them. It’s along the busy road but it never felt unsafe. The patio is wonderful for hanging out with great views.
The bed, shower and parking situation. The bed is exceptionally thin and uncomfortable. I folded an extra duvet under me in order to not feel the springs. The shower is tiny. The hot water ran out but the owner/host fixed it promptly.
Booking.com filters this property with onsite parking. That is not true. We parked in a public lot for a day and a half for 210 Euros. Then we parked in a private lot for two and a half days for 65 Euros.

The balcony view was amazing! Our overall stay was great with the location being so close to both beaches and easy access to buses and the cable car literally 2 minutes away.
The bed could be more comfortable

Another set of keys would be useful.
No hand soap, missing a pillow slip, bed cover was stained, no beach towels, even though we were charged a linen fee.
