Central & Quiet, Full apart for 2 L'Escapade Fleurie

Location. Authentic character of accomodation. Basement bedroom. Having a total kitchen was great as we were able to cook for ourselves.

Stairs to basement are very steep but my husband and I are both over 60 and didn’t have a problem. However anyone with mobility issues might struggle.

The location is fantastic, right on the edge of the old town area, so it’s close to everything we wanted to see, but also very quiet. That’s a rare combination. The bed was comfortable, which is essential, though absent of any normal size bed pillows (the ones included were not the best for sleeping on). Shower was great, and all other basic amenities were supplied.

It would have been nice to have a more immediate form of communication with our host, Rachel. I emailed her a week before we came to ask if they had any fans to help with the summer heatwave. I never heard back from Rachel, but there was a fan supplied when we got here. And when we had an issue with the outside door lock, I left 3 messages with her (phone, email, and website response), but we only heard back from her through WhatsApp about 30-40 minutes later after a neighbour called her. It all ended up working out, but we were in the dark for some time.

Dormitorul este la demisol, unde se simte un miros de mucegai, chiar daca este amplast un dezumidificator . Lipsa unei ferestre creaza un disconfort. Scarile sunt foarte incomode. Preferam sa dorm in living, dar baie e tot la demisol. De asemenea nu mi- au placut așternuturile si nu cred ca au fost schimbate inainte de sosirea noastra. Nici prosoapele nu aveau un miros placut. Multe reguli, chiar cum pasesti in apartament. Reguli de bun simt, dar parca formulate mai putin in spiritul ospitalității.
