Teal Cottage

Great location! Comfy beds. Easy to check in and check out. Lots of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cutlery etc. Very dog friendly!

Shower screen is too small causing the bathroom to get covered in water, even with the shower head pointing towards the door. This resulted in my clothes on the floor getting wet and dirty. Sofa isn't the most comfortable or easy to relax on. Ran out of hot water resulting in a cold shower as we used the facilities before reading the guest information. Check out information was very clear in the kitchen but would advise a 'do on arrival' instructions too to avoid this. No Wifi which I didn't mind however there was no phone signal in the area which caused difficulties with identifying local facilities and attraction post codes etc. Not the cleanest on arrival - cobwebs/dusty & hairs throughout house

Beautiful cottage with excellent facilities. Lots of places in the village to eat and drink, very central for sightseeing. Everyone we met was very friendly.

One minor, the shower screen is far too small so you could nit help getting water all over the floor and the shower head did not fit in the bracket correctly so kept falling out. However, this was a minor detail, it certainly did not spoil our stay.

Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean, looks recently renovated. Excellent central location in Middleham, lovely local pubs with very friendly staff and locals. Very scenic local walks, a visit to The Forbidden Corner is a must (even without kids!!) Lots of free parking nearby.

Lack of wi-fi.

Beautifully appointed. Loved all the horsey treasures. The location is amazing. Loved all the local pubs. Felt like I was really part of the village.
