B&B Mirò Luxury aeroporto capodichino Napoli

Easy access to the airports

Not easy to get local buses back to the city centre as you can’t buy tickets onboard.

Proximity to the airport was good. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were modern and clean.

The hot water ran out extremely fast, leaving half of our party with cold showers. The walls are thin, so you definitely need earplugs as you’re staying in what I would call an apartment with five bedrooms each with a locked door. So as people come and go you hear everything.

Near the airport

No real breakfast

The location was perfect for what we needed: a convenient one-night stay close to the airport before an early flight. It was still easy enough to head into the city during the day, while being ideally located for getting to the airport the following morning. The room was clean, and we particularly appreciated being able to check in early. The check-in process itself was very easy, and communication with the staff was quick and efficient throughout our stay. The complimentary coffee and small snacks were also a nice and welcome touch.

The main downside was the overall comfort of the room, particularly when it came to sleep. Although the room has an effective blackout shutter at the entrance, there is a small window high up on the wall without any curtain or blind. As a result, quite a lot of daylight enters the room as soon as the sun comes up, which somewhat defeats the purpose of the blackout shutter. The shower could also use some maintenance. The overhead shower was not working during our stay, while the handheld shower head was not in particularly good condition. More importantly, the shower drain appeared to be partially blocked, causing water to accumulate quite quickly around our feet. Finally, the sound insulation was rather poor. We could clearly hear noise from the hallway as well as guests in the room above us, which continued until fairly late. Since we specifically chose the accommodation to get some sleep before an early flight, this affected our stay quite a bit. The sliding door towards the hallway also lets some light through underneath. Overall, the accommodation was very practical, clean and convenient for an overnight stay near the airport, but some improvements to the shower, light blocking and sound insulation would make the experience considerably more comfortable.
