KINN Studios

'Budget' hotel close to China town ('budget' for Singapore standards) , so good location. Condition of hotel was globally good but beside that is was really basic. OK for 2 nights.

We booked 2 rooms, one room with double bed on the ground floor, one room at the second floor with separate beds. Especially the ground floor bed was really small (difficult to open the luggage); the other room was slightly more spacious. Bathroom also really small, and already slightly worn out.

We really loved our stay at Kinn Studios. Warm and friendly staff. Great building in a fantastic neighbourhood full of excellent restaurants. Close to three different Subway stations which offered quick access to almost anywhere in town. Our room (the largest on offer, with lots of natural light) was very well equipped, not huge, but modern and with lots of space to store our stuff. It was cleaned meticulously every day. We thought that by Singapore standards it offered very good value for money. Noise from the street was not an issue for us, the windows were well-insulated and it got quiet not too late at night, considering the lively neighbourhood.

Not the hotel's fault, but some of the other guests were very inconsiderate, talking loudly when they came home in the small hours of the morning. A minor inconvenience was the fact that you needed to log into the Wifi again whenever you had left the hotel or turned off your device.

This was an excellent location close to the metro and Chinatown. There were plenty of great places to eat nearby and only a 15 minute walk to the river and bay.
