The location. The weather, the stream, the restaurant.

The room is quite old esp the bathroom and outdoor jacuzzi. Need renovations.

Our stay at Lanna Hotel in Chiang Mai was truly magical. 🥹🌿 Surrounded by nature and nestled in the jungle, this was one of those rare places where you arrive and immediately feel that you can slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy being present. We stayed for four days and, surprisingly, we didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere or do any tours. We were perfectly happy just staying at the hotel, relaxing and taking it all in. The restaurant deserves a special mention because the food was by far some of the best we have had in Thailand. Every dish was prepared with so much love and attention to detail. The presentation was so beautiful that you almost didn’t want to eat it because you didn’t want to ruin it! 😍🍽️ You can genuinely feel the passion behind every plate. And then there was the most delicious sticky rice with mango. ❤️ The kids absolutely loved it. It was originally given to us as a complimentary treat, and they enjoyed it so much that later we asked if we could have it again. It wasn’t even on the menu at the time, but the team went out of their way to prepare it for us again as another complimentary treat. 🥹❤️ That may sound like a small gesture, but those are exactly the things that stay with you. They noticed what made our children happy and simply wanted to make them happy again. That is hospitality with heart. Another moment that really touched me was when one of my boys became very sick on our first day and developed a severe fever. I asked reception to help us arrange a taxi to the nearest pharmacy. The lovely lady at reception immediately asked whether he had any allergies and then kindly provided us with medicine free of charge. 🥹❤️ As a mother, that meant so much to me. We felt genuinely cared for, not just treated as hotel guests. From the moment you step into Lanna, the service feels like VIP treatment.

Staff was very kind and the restaurant was pretty good.

I was not aware of the abundance of spiders in the rooms. I'm OK with little bugs here and there due to the environment, but very large spiders I cannot do. I felt unsafe a lot of the time and uncomfortable. Not worth the price and it's also impossible to get a Grab from our hotel had to resort to overpriced taxi.
