Lack of air conditioning upstairs spoilt what would have been a comfortable stay.

The general layout is very good and the garden courtyard was a real bonus given the lack of outlook. The kitchen is well appointed, although the cooking ware is in poor condition, rusty pans and chipped enamel. The downstairs living area is spacious and comfortable. The garage was a big plus. The proximity to the beach is good, but access through the woods is tricky for the elderly or those with walking disabilities.

The lack of a sea view was disappointing. The absence of air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms made for very uncomfortable nights for our fellow guests. It was hot and airless. The fans supplied are completely insufficient. The beds were made up with thick duvets which didn’t help. The bath towels were very small and thin and no complementary toiletries were supplied in the bathrooms. The kitchen pans were rusty and chipped. The information booklet needs to include instructions on how to use the tv remotes. Also rubbish disposal and recycling. Accessing and locking up the property was muddling.

The location, proximity to the beach and some local eateries. Also liked the pool and complimentary firewood. Lovely team looking after the place.

A hidden gem .

Everything was amazing,nothing lacking. Lots of personal touches .The outside bbq area and all the outside seating were very welcome .The architect who designed this house used every bit of space to create a roomy functional home

Nothing to dislike.A small point,not a criticism..A sleeper couch could be made available in the upstairs lounge area to accommodate additional guests,since only 3 beds in such a house with such a large footprint

We had a wonderful time. The house was clean enough cutlery and crockery, beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the pool and outside braai area. Will definitely return.

Modern, comfortable, luxurious holiday home!

Beautiful and tasteful house, secure, clean and spacious, modern and very comfortable. Loved the bright blue sparkling swimming pool...a rare bonus in a holiday home... and the fact that it has an inverter so there's no loadshedding. Very well equipped with lots of pool towels and even luxury touches like shampoo in the bathrooms and a Nespresso machine - just bring your own coffee pods. It has two TV lounges, one upstairs which is great if you have teenagers, and a lot of nice books on the shelves if you forgot to bring something to read! Excellent position just around the corner from Grotto Beach. Our host, Lydia, was most accommodating and welcoming.

The house could only be better if it had a sea view but one can hear the sea and get to the beach very easily on foot.

Großes sauberes Haus fussläufig zum Strand, aber leider mit unglaublich ungemütlichen Betten.

Ich habe noch nie so wenig und schlecht geschlafen wie in dieser Unterkunft. Alle drei Schlafzimmer hatten sehr kleine (1,50 Breite) und ungemütliche Betten. Bei unserer Ankunft war weder das Gas für den Herd noch das Warmwasser angeschaltet. Die Terrassenstühle mussten wir selbst aufbauen und am Abreisetag sollten wir den Müll rausstellen und auf Nachfragen nach einem neuen Müllbeutel, sagte man uns, das wir diesen selbst besorgen müssen. Service ist die eine Sache, aber schlecht schlafen im Urlaub geht gar nicht.
