Somato Hotel

Fantastic, small, friendly hotel at the best location in Phnom Penh @ Riverside with very spacious rooms. Very polite & helpful ladies on reception..a handy small shop in the ground floor with many restaurants shops and markets on the door step. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

Le lit est grand et confortable. L’emplacement est idéal (à proximité des marchés, du quai et de restaurants). Tout peut se faire à pied depuis l’hôtel. Le personnel est souriant, agréable et très gentil.

Plusieurs petits bémols néanmoins. Une petite odeur désagréable au niveau des escaliers. Le quartier est très fréquenté et cela qu’importe l’heure de la journée ou de la nuit, ce qui apporte un bruit constant. Dans notre chambre, la connexion wifi était quelque peu difficile à capter. Il faut laisser tourner la clim le plus souvent possible pour être sûr de rafraîchir correctement la pièce. Dans la salle de bains, il y a une légère fuite sous le lavabo. Et nous n’avons eu de l’eau chaude qu’une fois durant notre séjour. Si nous devions également faire une suggestion, une petite table ainsi que des fauteuils ou chaises dans la chambre ne seraient pas de trop.

Hatte im ersten Zimmer kein warmes Wasser in der Dusche, konnte aber schnell ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Bett war komfortabel, Kissen sehr gut, Personal sehr nett.

Wenn es kein freies Zimmer gegeben hätte, in das ich umziehen konnte, wäre es problematisch gewesen, da aus der Dusche auch das kalte Wasser nur tropfenweise kam und das Problem anscheinend nicht schnell behoben werden kann, da angeblich die Leitung defekt ist. Kühlschrank und ein Fön wären bei dem Preis angebracht gewesen.

The staff were absolutely amazing. The two young gentleman took our bags up the stairs and checked us in immediately. They were hardworking and attentive. All of our needs were met. When we needed cutlery and plates, water, towels, extra fans. I think these two hotel attendants alone made the hotel worth it for me. They work so hard all through the day and night

The room had a putrid smell resembling animal waste (cat pee) it was so overpowering that I couldn’t sleep properly and had a massive headache. When we opened the balcony door, we saw a stray cat try and get in. Maybe in an effort to clear the smell, they open the room up not knowing that the cat is coming in to pee. I was allergic to cats so it was not a good fit for me
