Every detail of this 2,600 sq ft home has been reimagined by our family—led by award-winning designer (and Project Runway alum!) Amanda Perna—to create a space that’s joyful, serene, and perfect for making unforgettable memories. Surrounded by trees, our home gives off the perfect tree- house vibes with luxurious amenities.
The Space
4 spacious bedrooms + 4 full bathrooms

Two suites, each with deck access. King suite with private deck.
Two Queen bedrooms
One triple twin bunk room with playful design touches
Expansive wraparound deck for morning coffee, sunset dinners, or stargazing
Fully stocked kitchen with many appliances
Cozy living room with Smart TV & streaming
High-speed Wi‑Fi for remote work, and smart tvs equipped with YouTube TV as well as ability to log into your favorite apps for your entertainment
Downstairs family room stocked with board games, a kitchenette, foosball, and a pac man arcade game.
We have a washer & dryer to make your stay extra comfortable
All bath rooms and sinks have organic, vegan, high quality soaps.
Showers are equipped with Shampoo, Conditioner & Body wash

This home sprawls across 2600 sq. ft. of unconfined space, a place where memories are painted. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms included are two private suites adorned with there own decks. Our expansive wraparound deck offers a stage for dinning under the sky.
The retreat is perfect for multigenerational families, with lodging areas on each level. There is an abundance of entertainment options-- From a selection of board games, internet and TV channels.
The neighborhood offers four lakes with Lake Atagahi taking center stage complete with a pavilion, playground, a sandy beach, basket ball and volleyball.

This property blew away all of my expectations. We have stayed in other rental properties in the area before and none of them came close to this oasis that Lee Ann has created. It’s absolutely perfect from top to bottom. She even decorated for the holidays and had a Christmas tree for us. I will definitely stay there again!

The Fernwood was the perfect place for our family holiday vacation. The Host was always available and very accommodating. Well stocked for all needs, clean, and a great location with lots of amenities. The perfect family friendly home.

Property is newly refurnished and very beautiful. We enjoyed the back deck, which was very large and well furnished. The home had plenty of living space for our large party, with comfortable and spacious common areas on both floors of the house. Kitchen is well furnished with everything you need.

We have always loved Connestee Falls for access to great hikes, waterfalls and swimming in the lake. The Fernwood was a perfect home which met all our needs for a great family trip. The home is beautifully decorated with all the comforts and quality homeware. There was excellent communication by the hosts making our stay super easy and relaxed. Highly recommend a stay at the Fernwood whether you are looking for active outdoor adventures or simple unwind and recover in nature.
