About this house rental
Nestled in the tall oaks, box woods, and hydrangeas in a traditional family-friendly neighborhood, the four bedrooms plus a nursery, three baths, two living areas and three porches will make your stay fun and convenient. Invite the entire family or a group of friends to experience all that Brevard, Transylvania County, and Western NC has to offer. Two flat screen TVs, cable, WIFI, central heat and air, fully equipped kitchen, upstairs refreshment center, washer/ dryer and plenty of off-street parking makes our home an ideal spot for your family get-together. The large front porch has rockers and porch swing for morning coffee... or ... grab some afternoon sun and watch white squirrels play from the back deck or upstairs porch. Spend your evening around the fire pit for extra family fun. For bikers, there is a separate building for safe bike storage as well as a washing station.
Our home is located less than 5 minutes from Brevard Music Center and Brevard College with the Porter Center that hosts many world renowned artists as well as local talent. There are many other local venues hosting local and regional musicians. We are less than one mile to downtown Brevard’s favorite restaurants and shops.
We are close to Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Dupont State Park, Gorges State Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, PARI (Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute), the Cradle of Forestry in America, Flat Rock Playhouse, the Carl Sandburg home, Biltmore House, Tryon Equestrian Center. and many other area attractions. More than a dozen summer camps are located within a short drive.
We are less than an hour from Asheville, 2 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Columbia, SC, 3 hrs. from Atlanta, and 4 hours from Charleston. It’s a perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come relax and rejuvenate in the clean air of the mountains and enjoy all that this home has to offer.

Perfect house for a mountain biking getaway. Good location. Plenty of space to spread out; beds were comfortable. Used the kitchen daily. Coffee, water and snacks were provided, which was a nice surprise. Includes a bike storage room.
