Basilica Apartment Budapest

Literally, the apartment is in the heart of the city, next to the Basilica and best spots, the flat is super modern, everything is practical.

I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

It’s clear that this is a very new apartment, furnished in a youthful, modern style. I couldn’t have imagined a better location (the Basilica is just a few steps away), Budapest’s main attractions are all within walking distance, not to mention the restaurants. It’s literally the heart of the city center, yet the apartment itself is an oasis of peace and quiet. It’s on the ground floor, overlooking an inner courtyard. It was clean when we arrived and is furnished and equipped well. Loved it. (I had previously read that the bed was low, however, the bed height has likely been adjusted or replaced, as there was a normal-height bed in the apartment in January 2026.)

The only negative I can mention is that while the inner courtyard feels a bit old-fashioned (of course, no one can expect the owner to renovate that as well). I would suggest placing a small table and chairs there so guests could sit outside.

Beliggenheden er fremragende. Og størrelsen på lejligheden er god.

Sengen var frygtelig! Den knirkede rigtig meget hver gang du vendte dig om på siden og madrasserne var meget slidte og tynde, så man sank ned. Derudover var badet ikke så godt. Der kom ikke så meget vand ud af bruseren og den skiftede mellem meget varm eller koldt vand undervejs. Lejligheden var også svær at få varm i starten og var derfor kold det meste af vores ophold. Så det er måske bedre om sommeren.
