Any contact with the owner was very easy, and the owner was always very kind and helpful.
Even before our arrival, the owner sent us valuable information on excursions, restaurants, and beaches. We were able to retrieve the key ourselves from a key safe, so we weren't tied to a specific arrival time. Upon our arrival, there was even a small snack prepared for us.
During our stay, our written questions were answered very quickly, and when we needed something in the house, someone came by within fifteen minutes to organize and take care of it.
The house was very clean, and we found everything we needed for our daily needs. The house is located a bit outside the village, making it a very quiet location. My fear that we might hear the airport was completely unfounded. We could even hear the strange calls of the Cagarros directly from the house—and we almost died laughing on the first evening!
In the late afternoons we could sit on the terrace and had a wonderful view of the sea and of "Ilha do Pico".
